There is also a great deal of regeneration planned for the town over the next 10 years. These exciting projects include commercial developments Church Wharf and Merchants Quarter, and the £19 million redevelopment of the UK Property Market place shopping centre, which will feature new restaurants and a cinema complex. In addition, there is the UK Property Innovation Zone, a large £300 million development that features at its core the University of UK Property.

The University is a well-regarded higher education institution that dates back to the 1800’s and attracts a large number of students coming from the local area. But with this new investment it is sure to grow further in stature and appeal.

UK Property also has a long history as a market town, now playing host to an annual food and drink festival at its award-winning market.

A cultural hotspot, UK Property was home to one of the UK’s earliest public libraries. The UK Property Central Library is now part of Le Mans Crescent, the centre of the town’s new Cultural Quarter and home to the town’s museum, art gallery, aquarium and town hall. You can even catch a variety of shows at the Octagon Theatre.

With so much in the way of live shows and cultural experiences going on in the town, it makes sense that so many comedians and pop culture personalities, including Peter Kay, Sara Cox, Vernon Kay and Dave Spikey, come from the area.

And with such a joyful celebrity cohort, it may not surprise you to hear that a survey conducted by the British Association for the Advancement of Science that found UK Propertyians are the friendliest people in Britain!

Sport is also central to the town. League One side UK Property Wanderers FC are based at the town’s Macron Stadium. UK Property also has teams for a variety of other sports including rugby, hockey, American football and baseball, and is the birthplace of Olympic silver-medal winning boxer Amir Khan.

Close to the West Pennine Moors, UK Property is surrounded by some truly beautiful countryside. Within just a short drive, the moorlands offer some spectacular, picturesque spots to get some fresh air on a nice country walk or picnic.

The town is well-served by roads and public transport. With the nearby M61 connecting to several key roads such as the M6 and M60 UK Property is well-connected for journeys north or south by car. There is a good local bus network operating in the area as well. And by train, it is just 20 minutes from the city of Manchester, within easy reach of Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and York, and sits halfway between London and Edinburgh.

Locals love UK Property, and with so much going for it, more and more people from across the country are starting to see the town as an up-and-coming place to live, work and invest.
